we ate at Jordan's today. we had the catfish, chopped pork, beans, potato salad, okra and onion rings. the onion rings we among the best we have ever had, hand cut and breaded, cooked perfectly, a bite out of the thickest ring and it was perfect, no onion came and burning your lip, batter was light and crispy. the catfish was lightly breaded with a cornmeal breading and fried perfectly, crisp and the fish was cooked all the way through without the breading being over done. the chopped pork had good smoke little bits of bark and moist. I tried all three on their house made sauces. The sweet was a traditional Memphis style very good. The spicy was unusual, seemed like a blend of western Kentucky vinegar style, herbs pepper and some of their sweet, it didn't hit my taste but for some it can be addictive. The hot sauce tasted like the sweet base kicked up with lots of heat and light sweetness in the back the back. I loved the beans, great sauce and plenty of heat without be overly spicy. The potato salad was good and a nice counter to the heat from the beans and hot sauce . Okra, like the fish and onion rings were lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Places like this make me glad I live in the south. no Phony chain bbq joint, just good food. My only regret, I was too full to try the pecan pie. Next time!

The BBQ IS GREAT! If you have a "thing" for GOOD fried catfish and all the trimmings, bring your "thing" to Jordan's!!

Had a taste for some bbq, so since I was out in the area working stop by for lunch. Let me tell you it was a great decision. Food was phenomenal, great atmosphere, great customer service. Right off the highway so easy to get to. Great plate presentation. BBQ beans were a stand out on my plate. Although all of my food was very very good. Will definitely be back when in this area. I will be sharing with family and friends as well. If you are in the area for lunch or dinner and want some great BBQ. You will not be disappointed.

Found this restaurant by searching for the 'best BBQ and catfish near me.' Hubby and I decided to try Jordan's because we like to visit local eateries when we travel. He ordered the 6-piece catfish dinner, with Cole slaw and fries. I ordered the BBQ shredded pork meal with Cole slaw, fried okra beans. The catfish was really tasty, and I'm pretty sure the tartar sauce was home made. The Cole slaw was yummy, not creamy and not vinegar based, more like a combination of the two. The beans were okay, but the fried okra was amazing! Generous portions of everything. Banana pudding made the meal ending, complete with Nilla wafers!
